Using the Corning pH meter as a voltmeter

  1. Turn the instrument to mV mode using the knob.

  2. Clamp the alligator clips to together and turn the instrument on. A reading of 0 mV should register on the screen. If it does not, you have two options:
  3. To take readings, clamp the alligator clips to the approptiate electrodes and place the electrodes in the solution. Be sure not to let the electrodes touch
