Steve Kaverman

Steve Kaverman graduated from Purdue in 2007 with a BS in Pharmacetucial Sciences. He is now pursuing his Master's in Chemical Education. Once he graduates with his Master's degree he plans on becoming a Chemistry instructor at a community college, 2-year college, or branch college. Steve also has a license to teach chemistry at the high school level.

Steve is currently working on a project in which he is investigating graduate students' conceptions of the nature of engineering. he is interested in learning how these students percieve and experience engineering. Steve is seeking to learn what it means to these students to be engineers. He is also interested in looking at how these conceptions compare to those of first year undergraduate students in engineering whose conceptions were investigated by another member of the Bodner group.
